Dear Friend,
Nearly 50 years ago, my father, Regent University’s founder Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson, responded to God’s call to “build a school for My glory.” Today, thanks to your faithful prayers and generosity, more than 37,000 men and women have been equipped, through the university’s Christ-centered education, to lead in their professions and to share the gospel with the world.
I believe the time has come to expand our reach and vision, and with your help, write the next chapter of Regent’s God-ordained story.
My father talked about building an on-campus sports complex for more than a decade. With ten “Regent Royals” teams currently competing at the intercollegiate level and plans to add six more over the next few years, the need to build athletic facilities has never been greater.
This is the first of many construction projects planned for Regent. But with the NCAA’s recent approval of the university’s exploratory application into Division III athletics, the time to “rise up” and start building is now.
As a friend of Regent, you know the importance of fulfilling our mission to train Christian servant-leaders to change the world. That’s why we need your help today to take this university to new heights. Thank you for your friendship, your faithful prayers, and your generous, sacrificial support.
All for God’s glory,
Gordon Robertson
Chancellor, Regent University
